MP Said: FRWO Has Had Commendable Achievements in the Zagros

According to FRWO's website, Dr. Gholamreza Tajgardon, Head of Parliament's Committee for Plan and Budget and Audit at the 11th session of working group meeting on sustainable management in Zagros held in Yasouj said that the special attention of the Supreme Leader to natural resources issue, and the support of Government and the Parliament in this direction has provided a new impetus to the management of natural resources.  

He added that based on a permit we received from the Supreme Leader, new financial resources has been allocated to natural resources projects in the 2019  national budget from National Development Fund.  

He emphasized the need for scientific management of natural resources and said technical programs at FRWO need to have a cultural attachment for further mobilizing public participation.

Tajgardon referred to the rising occurrence of wild land fires in recent years and said that time is ripe to resolve the persistence lack of modern fire fighting equipments and skilled staff once forever in FRWO in order to address the issue of wild land fires in the country in a comprehensive manner.

He concluded that the remaining work with regard to IWM implementation as well as provision of human resources for FRWO should be resolved in the 2020 national budget.
